Experience what it's like to be a Rockhound! Instructor will display a rich collections of rocks, minerals and fossils at the workshop. Yes, we will bring a mini Rock Museum to your location. Learn the techniques in identifying various rocks, minerals, fossils and discover the world of treasures. A variety of fluorescent minerals, floating rocks and dissovable rocks will be presented in the class. Audience will have an opportunity to touch and feel the colorful rocks and minerals and try out the metal detactor! This entertaining and educational presentation will allow students to look at the beautiful world around us in different set of lens.

Class Size: 50 maximum
Class Materials: Provided by instructor
Classroom Set Up: Presentation style. 4 long/round tables for rock display. Chairs for audiences. A bonus PowerPoint presentation will be presented if a projector and a screen is available.
